PCS Engineers completed HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection Design for the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) alterations for the James J. Peters VA Medical Center. The centralized SPD area provides all the sterile processing for the Medical Center operating rooms and procedure areas. The alterations included a total area of 16,000 square feet. Design included phasing to maintain critical functions during construction. Engineering and design included critical air flows, filtration and air pressure relationships to assure sterile environments in all areas associated with the SPD functions. Project design completion is scheduled for 2017. Current ongoing construction Administration Services through Construction Completion 2017 – 2018.
